Questions hotel owners ask us

Does it need the internet to run?

It runs on a computer or server at your property, and your team uses it in a web browser on your own network, so daily work does not depend on a fast internet line. Internet is only needed for things like online booking, guest messages and cloud backup.

Is our data safe?

Backups run on a schedule, with an option to keep a copy in the cloud and to restore when needed. Every team member signs in with their own account and sees only what their role allows, and important actions are recorded.

How long does setup take, and is training included?

Setup is typically done within 24 to 48 hours. We set up your rooms, rates, menu and users, bring your data across, and train your team as part of going live.

Can we try it before we buy?

Yes. Start with a demo, then run a short proof of concept at your property with your own rooms, rates and team.

Can it be adapted to our country, currency and language?

Yes. It was built in Ghana and is available in English, French and Swahili. It can be customised for other countries on request: currency, local rules and more. Tell us what you need.

What does it cost?

It depends on the size of your property and the parts you need, and there are no per-booking or transaction fees. Book a demo or send us a message and we will give you a clear quote.

What if we need help after we go live?

Our team provides 24-hour support by call or WhatsApp, and we stay on hand after training.

Can I record mobile money payments such as MTN MoMo?

Yes. Cash, card and mobile money payments (for example MTN MoMo or Telecel Cash) are recorded on the same guest bill, so the day's takings add up at the end of the shift.

Is it only for hotels in Ghana?

No. Nerge Stay Pro was built in Ghana, for Ghana, and it can be customised on request for hotels and guesthouses in other African countries and beyond, including currency, local rules and language. It is available in English, French and Swahili.

Is Nerge Stay Pro a hotel PMS, and is it right for a small guesthouse?

Yes. It is a hotel management system (also called a property management system or PMS) covering reservations, front desk, billing, restaurant and bar, housekeeping and reports. It suits a small guesthouse as well as a large hotel.
